Anyone know what the train situation is. I have 2 kids and don't want to get stuck up in Crewe if the trains aren't running to schedule (or as near to schedule as they normally are).

hopefully the revised timetable will be ok.... if you aim to catch the one that's due to be leaving about 5.27 - you should be ok.....

Thanks lightweight. Not sure if we can go yet as Mrs Blarm has just come out of hospital (that's why I'm not in NZ on my hols in case anyone was wondering).

Yes, I do use a Family Railcard. £2 for the kids anywhere in the country and 1/3 off for myself for only £20 a year. Its a bargain!!

did you make it in the end?? and did you make it back!!

nice to find that the revised timetable in the internet was still wrong - and they were running trains at very strange times in places.. oh well.

In the end the trains actually turned out to be quite reliable - the one we got actually got us back half hour early (!) and there were others running later too.

Some of the lads n lasses even chanced their luck and stayed in Nantwhich (God only knows why - there's nothing there !!!) http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif
