How I jumped for joy when the final whistle blew only to be brought crashing to earth by the tannoy announcement saying that the first leg would be on 10th January. To my horror I realised the second leg would be the 24th January. The reason for my horror is that two months ago being an old romantic(and complete idiot) Iarranged a two night visit to Prague for me and the missus. I took great care not to book the weekend in case I missed a Palace match, I went for mid week knowing it would be safe. The dates I picked, you guessed it - 23rd to 25th January

I tried to get out of it but was advised by the nearest and dearest I would be minus my testicles if I succeeded! Is there any justice in this world. You try and do the right thing and it always blows up in your face.
