The team needs a leader - and hes the best we've got ,Hughies may not play every game . Why wait for half a season

Won't happen. He doesn't go back a long way with da boss and his bruv. Unlike our present capt. Dowie doesn't do changes.

Hard to bring a player in and name him captain straight away I think... still stick with a player thats been at the club longer

I don't see why not. He led the huddle on Sat, clearly communicates with the rest of the team, commands respect and is a rock. There should be no time limit for someone to be skipper IMO, if it is stupidly clear that he should be captain.

he does it anyway, the only benefit on him actually having the arm band at the moment is it might mean hall isnt a cert to start.

The guy is a leader and orginiser, he should be captain without doubt.

Ward was doing all the talking in the huddle anyway, so he might as well be Captain.

Why not Aki? He's inspirational.

because unfortunately ID has not, in my opinion ,decided on his best midfield yet and whether that includes AKI ?

What has One Size done wrong? Why take the armband off him?

Hughes is inspirational in that he fights the whole match. Hall commands respect as he is quality.

I would have no problem having Ward as captain but it doesn't deliver a fair message to the other two....

since when did you see one size showing true leadership - he's to quiet , doesnt organise the defence that well let alone the team - he's a good player but not a captain in the Jim Cannon mould.

Why not Kiraly?
I can hear him shout all the way from the Whitehorse Lane end.
