Just spent ten minutes hanging on to get my Liverpool tickets and listening to the turgid music on hold they play.

Why can't they use Glad All Over and all the other Palace songs that Rob plays match days. At least it would make the waiting bearable.

But have you got you're ticket?

Or, more likely by Friday, "sorry Sir, the Holmesdale Lower is sold out."

Got the engaged signal all morning. Finally got through and put on the hold music for about 20 minutes. Then when I got through I was told that I could not book my tickets until I could give them all the Season ticket numbers of me and my mates books! I have never needed it before and Naturally dont carry them with me!

Therefore I wasted a day on the phone with no result!

(Do I sound peaved?!!!)

I e-mailed the Box Office an hour or two ago regarding the Sunderland FAC3 game in January, only to receive a non-delivery message later. Reason? "The intended recipient's mailbox is full."

Is that pathetic or what? Is this the 21st Century top notch football club at work?

I don't think so.

So it appears that Season Ticket holders and Members can buy any amount of tickets, as long as the seats aren't reserved for Season Ticket holders (eg most of Blocks A&B Holmesdale).

Liverpool will have half of the Arthur Wait, although I'm sure there will also be Liverpool fans in the Main Stand.

http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/rolleyes.gif There is no real reason why this match shouldn't be a sell-out.

Why can't we book tickets online, it would be so much easier. I recently went to Miami to watch an NFL game and booked my seat over the internet. You can see the view from your seat and all you do is pick up your tickets on game day, just like going to watch a show. Never mind, maybe one day Palace will join the 21st century.

Having tried ringing the B**dy box office for QPR tickets most of last week and this week to find it permanently engaged I thought perhaps I'd book online via the official Palace website, today. The information highway is full of roadworks at Palace, (no, that indicates something happens on that site, lets just say miles of cones).

I thought I'd get Liverpool tickets and QPR at the same time. They're not even advertising Liverpool tickets yet- the official web site- Pathetic.

I'll keep trying for the Liverpool tickets but I think I'll have to give up on the QPR match. Might save my money and travel to Anfield instead.

But there isn't a Row 1. The Front Row, as I found out when sitting there for the Sunderland game on Tuesday is actually Row 2.

I kid you not.

I have now got to get 11 tickets. I'll get the upper tier, then. Don't care as long as we're all there. They are ALL Palace.

Queues at lunchtime today were fairly long, but moving. Goodness knows what they will be like tomorrow evening.

BTW confirmed it is not the whole of the AW - I was able to get my ST seats in block U.

I too spent all day getting the engaged tone.

So, at 4:30pm, having had enough, I went through the main switchboard number.

Straight through, my son!!

I shall be queing for my s/t seat tonite (for the Liverpool game), before the Blackburn game, and expect the queue to be vast!

Nevertheless, It'll be worth it to see a packed Selhurst full of Palace.

Hey, anyone who's got through has done well. Work prevents me from getting to most matches - could have made this Saturday but not tonight - but can I get through to book for the Huddersfield match? No, after more than a week of trying; Mr Jordan we'd like to see Palace play so please put more people in the booking office. Thank you. PS The team are brilliant! well done.

Tonight, Friday, I left work early and got to the Box Office THREE HOURS before kick-off with the intention of buying tickets for QPR and Liverpool. "Sorry sir, you should have been here earlier, we're only doing season tickets and tonight's match now. You can fill in a form and we'll phone you over the next couple of days. Or you can come back after the match".

Fine, but....
1) They've been refusing to pick up a telephone all week, are they really going to start now?
2) I'm not going to sit by the phone all weekend on the off-chance.
3) How are they going to get QPR tickets to me anyway. Or am I supposed to make a 40 mile round trip to collect?
4) It's all very well saying that the box office will be staffed tonight until everybody has been served, but that gives me the choice of missing half the match to get near the start of the queue or missing the last train home. Thanks a bundle!

And before anybody says I should have bought QPR tickets before, I'm not a child or a midget, so I can't fit in their lower tier. Therefore I had to wait for them to selling upper tier tickets (which incidentally the web site still denies they have).

Mr Jordan complains that we're only getting the dedicated hardcore to matches. With the hoops that one has to go through to get tickets, is this a surprise?

Went out today (Saturday). Came back around 4pm, no messages on my answerphone. Rang 1471 and found to my surprise that the Box Office had rung me - shame they didn't have the courtesy to leave a message. Rang back, got a recorded message saying they were closed.

Looks like I'm going to be with the home fans v QPR. http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/frown.gif

I too am fed up with box office arrangements. I went to the game early on Friday hoping to pick up my tickets for Liverpool and for Sunderland away. Heard the announcement that they were only dealing with Blackburn and season tickets. Could not stay after the game because of travel arrangements, but pleased because the programme announced that the box office would be open on 23 and 24 December. I spent a large part of Saturday trying to ring, to be told by a disembodied voice that the box office was now closed and would reopen at 9.30 on 23 December - this until several hours after that time. Tried again late on Saturday afternoon to hear that the answerphone message now said that the box office would be open to personal callers only on 23 and 24 December. Had I known that on Friday night, or first thing on Saturday, I could have arranged to go over, but by Saturday afternoon it was too late. I love following the Palace, but they do make it difficult at times....
