I wish I could drive! The coach service is normally useless, but there is no other way for me. Brett, sod what everyone else says. Sir.S.C Remembered, go to bed. It's very easy to slag people off though a computer. The_next_matt_jansen, good question, how much is the coach?

Check the trains in August. Some good deals that I've heard about.

Check out the Travel forum regularly, the deals tend to be put up there quite a bit in advance.

Havent done the train myself, but I am considering it now circumstances have changed and cash is tight.

That is correct, but CPFC still have control over departure times so how much difference it will make is debatable.

I thinks its 17 for members and 20 for non-members.

Except that it seems that there were a lot of train tickets that worked out cheaper than the coach!!

Never been on the coaches and at these prices I never will. I take either one or two of my kids with me to away games so that would cost me around 50 notes for the coach. Car is more convenient and quicker, and above all else when it is a company car is a hell of a lot cheaper!!!!

I have to say there must be a heck off a following if were taking 5 coaches.
For a game like this we normally only have 3 at most, so for 5 coaches going to Rotherham i just hope the rest of you come to places like Crewe, Grimsby, and Stockport later on in the season.

The coach prices will be a wide range this season, if you have the Eagle Gold upgrade it costs even cheaper so for my ticket it was 13.50 which is good value, you wouldn't be able to drive up there and back for that and neither that cheap on the train. It is still in my opinion the cheapest way of going to away matches.

Yes, we are leaving at 8.00 so would expect to be in Rotherham by about 1.30-2.00, towards the end of last season we were never late for a game and don't expect to this year bar traffic problems.

There is a new coach company and i believe it will be the same company the team coach uses and the company being used are Aventia (i think that's what it was!!!)

Anyway, see you all on Saturday!!!

err - there were a lot of train tickets for 14 - and we don't have to be at st pancras till 10.25 :p

I am very very surprised that there isn't any discount for children on the coach - that way cars and trains would definitely work out cheaper surely?
