That's the 9.10 at Pontefract. I'm obviously not a professional race reader, but happy to go with the experts view ...
held up in mid-division badly hampered and nearly brought down 9f out, lost place and towards rear, steady headway on outside over 2f out, stayed on to 3rd final 50 yards and closing, not recover

It was a pity that she wasn't closer to the pace - instead it was pretty slow

Had a touch on the Hills roulette machines too!
Had £1.50 in my pocket in coins, stuck the quid in machine and done my usual 5 numbers (1, 7, 16, 17, 20... work it out!), 7 came up for £7.20odd. Put the £2.50 in the machine, done the 5 numbers, 17 came up for £18. Basically, it paid for my 2 rounds in the pub. Result!

4.00 Towcester Greenlaw (lay) @ 1.88
Despite looking good in his NHF races, has produced nothing so far jumping, looking moderate and unseated rider last, only 3 opponents (moderate at best), but still think worth opposing here.
5.00 Athenian (lay) @ 1.76
Prescott's horse improved from having no form (as they do) to land a comfortable success last time out, however racing of 6lbs higher here and looks too short in a fairly competitive handicap, unfortunately 3 have come out which makes it slightly easier for him, however he's also unproven on turf, so worth a lay.

16:25 - Hard to get away from Sir Prancealot
17:35 - I too like Lyric Ace but I am more keen on Pay Freeze and Bungle Inthejungle. Don't often do Channon horses but have had a word for both of these and if backed on the day it confirms he thinks he can hold LY through Chilworth Icon.

Wednesday looks a far better betting medium for me:
14:30 - Aljamaaheer I think is a very classy horse and I think the market is all wrong with this one, better form than Sentaril who was impressive and I just can't have Reply.
15:05 - Tasty race, will be siding with the Fanshawe plot horse Captivator at a big price and Nahrain who I think has the best form.
15:45 - Swerving, will laugh if SYT loses.
16:25 - Dimension @ 10/1 is a decent bet for me, another Fanshawe plot with all the rights stats. I'm abandoning Excellent Guest so watch him hose up!
17:00 - I'll be sticking with the hopefully big priced Threes Grand again - will wait to see if there is any draw bias.
17:35 - Electrelane is top weight but carries the form of my big hoep for the Coronation Stakes, Laugh Out Loud.

Indeed, it was more than 'slightly hampered at start' as the racing comments would have you believe - lost out on a decent rail position and had to pass them all, eventually losing by the distance lost at the start. Think he will improve more but ideally will want 6f in time. He is also entered in the Albany on Friday over 6f...
