Got a small money problem on CM.
I got offered the Peterbrogh job at the begining of season 2(CM001/01) after being manager of FC jokerit for two years.
I took it without consulting their finances, and when i was installed as manager i realised they were bankrupt.
Their balance was £0.
A few weeks later an emergency meeting is held and im a told we are £417m in debt and I am not to refuse any decent offers for players.
£417M!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What am i supposed to do? I need to sign players!!!!

Do what Steve Bruce would do - Resign and tell the press the board lied to you about the money available :)

You just have to run with it for a while. Sooner or later the club will get taken over (clubs in money trouble always do), an then you'll have a bit of money. In the meantime, no spending cash for you !. I took Forest Green from the conference to the Premier without spending a penny in transfer or signing on fees so it can be done. Just see it as a challenge for now :o)

I took Blackpool to the Prem in successive seasons on a shoestring, then Man U made me an offer I couldn't refuse - £47m in transfer funds and I don't know what to do with it all.

It would be interesting to know how a club like Peterborough, with an average annual turnover of about three and fourpence, managed to get £417m in debt.
Did they appoint Nick Leeson as Chairman? Have they been making unwise investments in the futures markets, or perhaps in cocoa?

I think there is a bug in my game. Just to tell you that it has now risen to £700m. Despite me not buying anyone or anything!!

It's pretty funny. Hehe.
In one of my games Rayo Vallencano got taken over twice in the same season.
