Are Chelsea becoming as hated as Man utd were a few years back already. A couple of years ago i'd of 'loved it' if any team would even beat man utd let alone finish above them. Now im getting some unusual pleasure in watching them get closer and closer to chelsea. Part of me would love to see them clinch the title!

A long way away from the vitriol Man Utd used to receive. We particularly dislike them because a lot of their support historically and even more now are based in our catchment area.

Chelsea have a lot more than average of your swaggering mouthy supporters. Cheeky Londoners that think they are something a bit special. A successful, dominant, trophy winning team is just right for these type of characters, regardless whether they know about football or not.

I remember watching them win their second FA Cup of recent times in the Conq in Upper Norwood. They spent most of the game making monkey comments about a certain Middlesborough player (ask Chocks, I believe he was there) and when they had won, the height of their celebration was a 'good on ya Chelse' as though it was a foregone conclusion.

Arrogance epitomised.

I used to think I could never, ever want Utd to do well in anything ever at all. But I find Chelski so morally objectionable that I'm willing to cheer on the scumbag mancs. And this is paradoxical and upsetting, because usually i'd rather introduce a knife to my stomach than cheer on those bastards, but football is weird I suppose. Ideally Liverpool could somehow win it, but obviously that won't happen.
