Southend losing 1-0 at home to Gillingham at the moment...none other than Tommy Black putting them in the lead.
Cardiff drawing with Sheffield United at the moment too.

Source?
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Mr Black seems to be doing well at the Gills.
Any news from Conference etc?

I'm not sure I want Watford to get a goal back here.
We won't be assured a play off spot should Wolves win, however we're all but there. We'd need to lose all our games and Wolves win all theirs. This is Palace, but even for Palace that'd be some ballsup.
On the other hand, a Wolves win here keeps Watford within touching distance, the all important second leg at home spots in the play offs.

A draw would suffice.

I think you are right too but this is Palace and we all hold that little demon of doubt in our head. It helps us.:(

I fail to see how King's goal makes any difference to us. Wolves will not catch us. Watford however, may start buggering off into the distance with 3rd spot. Leaving three teams to scrap for 4th, of which we are the lowest placed.
I'd rather a Wolves winner. I can wait until tomorrow to be certain of the play offs. I don't want Watford picking up points, nor confidence, going into the play offs.

Marlon King straight red, sent off for Watford.
3 match ban, first game back will be playoff first leg - if it's in effect from Monday....

Be interesting to see if it kicks in for Monday..
Kicks in for the next game, the rule has changed, it used to be that a player could play in the next game and then serve his suspension.
So he will make the play offs, but it still weakens them in the run in to decided who gets the home leg second.

sent off for dissent. not sure whether its good or bad that hes been sent off - means he wont get injured or sent off between now and the playoffs, but at the same time they might struggle to maintain their 'form', thus stumbling into the playoffs. probably a good thing i expect.

Doesn't stop Palace keeping some of our players out of harms way
before the play-offs though does it?

United still 0-0 with Sunderland.
Mind you I wouldnt rule out a late charge for the title from United, I reckon they're a bit of a sleeping giant.

I appreciate that Warnock has finally done the job. But not for the want of trying!
I'd rather be Nigel Palace than openly support or endorse any other club.

Whats wrong with supporting or endore's another club that our not your rivals? Let alone play in the same league as you?
I support the mighty Carshalton, does that mean I not love Palace.

Why any Palace fan would want to support those tossers for I do not know.
The day the dodgy russian walks away and they go bust will be a joyful one for many a Palace fan.

You'd be a good politician :D
My point is, going on about Sheffield United or Southend is like any normal Palace fan looking out for Chelsea's results...they're not our rivals and never will be.
The fact that you berate anyone who shows a liking for Chelsea makes you a hypocrite because you're only too happy to blow your Blades or Southend trumpet whenever you get the chance.

Why??? Who cares?
Do you ever think that we are Chelsea's charlton if you get my drift? They clearly couldn't give a toss about us yet they're all you ever whinge about.
I hate Sheff U (and even Wolves) far more than Chelsea. Colin and the gang epitomise all that I hate, in cheating to win at all costs and their one eyedness. He's done a crap job for them in the long run and I'll be happy when they go down next year and they get rid of him.
Chelsea are disliked by many Palace fans mainly due to their south east London/Surrey fan base. That doesn't mean that we are trying to pretend that they are our rivals in a Charltonish sort of way, I dislike Man Utd as well but don't try to claim that we are rivals with them either. Tbh I couldn't give a toss what fans of either team think of us.
Can't understand why C-Block likes Sheffield Utd though, completely dislikable club.

The main problem was that when Noades appointed Mullery as manager at palace a lot of fans were so disgusted they took their allegiance to Chelsea.
