So Steve recalls Matthew Upson to the starting 11 for the first time in 3 months, and he has just pulled up in the warm up ahead of the Villa game with a ankle injury. :D
Whatever we do say about Brum and Bruce, you must have some sympathy. They are cursed when it comes to injuries!

Sympathy - nah, it's just funny.
Having said that, I think they'll win today and drag Villa into the relegation mire.

Last 3 games at Villa Park, Blues have won twice and drew once.

Not watching today, but, what I have seen of them this season I think you are being very kind.

What's written on the black armbands the players, referee and management bench are wearing? Has someone notable died recently (not funny) or does it signify Birmingham's impending relegation (hilarious)?

:D
The stats from the first half were alarming.
Possesion was something like 36% - 64% in favour of Blues and we have to remember that Villa ARE the home team!

I have no sympathy whatsoever for that pathetic club, their think neanderthal fans, the flat nosed •••• who runs them or that old spunk bin in the boardroom.

17 year Anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. All players this weekend in the Premiership have worn them

Thanks DaveMatt. A grim reminder of one of the worst days in the history of football, in human terms.

A few weeks ago Bruce was imply/accusing some of his players of dragging their heels on the way back to full fitness. So somethings not right there and sounds like more than just bad luck.

FT 3-1 Villa
I would say IF Pompey can get 6 more points, Brum and Baggies are curtains!:lux:

I'm hoping the still have a chance to stay up on the final game of the season so I can pop to the Reebok and wave them goodbye, what fun that will be. I've never forgiven them for the disgrace their support was at Selhurst following the Hillsborough disaster.

David O'Leary on Brum : "they're just a straight-forward, long ball team" :afro: ;)
