Millwall youngsters handed deals
Managerless Millwall have handed new contracts to three of their younger players, following their relegation from the Championship.

Goalkeeper Alan Brooks has been given a one-year deal, as has defender Michael Bostwick, who has spent the last six weeks on loan at Crawley Town.

Meanwhile, striker Ross Gaynor has signed a two-year contract.

The trio have come up through the Lions' youth ranks, but none of them has yet appeared for the first team.

Millwall have appointed a new chairman whose first task will be to find a new manager for the relegated club.

Stewart Till, the CEO of United International Pictures, has also targeted promotion back into the Championship as one of his first goals.

He told the club's official website: "I have been a supporter of Millwall since my father took me to see them play Carlisle in 1959.

Next season will be a trip down memory lane then.

"Our intention is to return to the Championship at after next season."

Millwall have been managerless since David Tuttle and the club parted company by mutual consent a fortnight ago.

Job done. Agent Tuttle

And Till added: "One of my tasks is the recruitment of a new team manager to bring glory back to The Den."

Back to?

Peter de Savary, who appointed the new chairman, will continue as chairman of Millwall Holdings plc, the company that owns the football club.

One last try.

I'm pretty sure I have this right, but please feel free to correct me; If, as seems more than likely, we fail to be promoted, you will still be relegated.

I know there have been many changes in league structure over the years, but as far as I am aware, currently the play-off results do not effect the teams already relegated. Crewe. Millwall. Brighton.

Therefore feeling smug about your relegation has absolutely nothing to do with us not going up. You will still be in a lower league than us.

So yes, my 'Millwall Are Relegated Smugometre' is still registering high values.

Are you following this alright?
I know it involves both emotion and logic but its really not that difficult.
