Date? I've not been on a date for aaages! Well, a month, and I'm not sure it was really a date as I made her pay :D We were going to see the terracotta army, but it was a bit late in the day to get tickets, so had a quick zoom around the British museum, taking in the delights of the Elgin Marbles and jade production in China. From there we went to a thai restaurant in Charlotte street that was really good! (Unfortunately I am buggered if I can remember the name...) and a couple of pints before putting her on a tude home. As always I was left with the impression that we're just friends ( ) but that if I wanted to take her out for a meal next time she's in country then I'd be more than welcome :bash:

Troublsesome start to the day today guys.....

I rear-ended a car this morning on London Rd in West Croydon.

So there we are alongside the road and slowly the driver gets out of the car. . .

.. and you know how you can get so pissed off and life-stuff, problems etc seems to get funny?

Yeah, well, I was caught on the hop a bit . . . this chap was a Dwarf!

He storms over to my car, looks up at me and says, 'I AM NOT HAPPY!'

So, I look down at him and say, 'Well, which one are you then?'

. . . and that's when the fight started . . .

I lost obviously.

I think not:

How to Tie a Knot in a Cherry Stem With Your Tongue:

1. Work the stem around in your mouth so it becomes more malleable (meaning easier to shape or change form).

2. Fold the stem in half around the tip of your tongue; the easiest way to do this is lengthwise, so the folded stem lies along the length of the tongue, one end on the top of the tongue, one end on the bottom.

3. Take the folded stem between your front teeth and bite down gently until the two ends cross over, forming a loop.

4. While holding the crossed-over stem between your teeth, use the tip of your tongue to push one end of the stem through the loop you've made. Try using your teeth to rotate the looped stem toward the end you are trying to push through. This might take a few minutes, but it is possible, especially with practice.

5. For an extra flourish, push the cherry stone through the knotted stem (brace the knotted stem against your front teeth and push the stone halfway through using the tip of your tongue).

A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night to meet, and have dinner with her parents.

Since this is such a big event, the girl announces to her boyfriend that after dinner, she would like to go out and make love for the first time.

The boy is ecstatic, but he has never had sex before, so he takes a trip to the pharmacist to get some condoms. He tells the pharmacist it's his first time and the pharmacist helps the boy for about an hour.

He tells the boy everything there is to know about condoms and sex.

At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many condoms he'd like to buy, a 3-pack, 10-pack, or Family pack. The boy insists on the family pack because he thinks he will be rather busy, it being his first time and all.

That night, the boy shows up at the girl's parents house and meets his girlfriend at the door. 'Oh, I'm so excited for you to meet my parents, come on in!'

The boy goes inside and is taken to the dinner table where the girl's parents are seated. The boy quickly offers to say grace and bows his head.

A minute passes, and the boy is still deep in prayer, with his head down. 10 minutes pass, and still no movement from the boy. Finally, after 20 minutes with his head down, the girlfriend leans over and whispers to the Boyfriend, 'I had no idea you were this religious.'

The boy turns, and whispers back, 'I had no idea your Father was a pharmacist.'

But it totally ruined Tuesday night! Totally, man! To start with the traffic was so bad, I ended up walking the last mile and a half and missing the first 10 minutes, it was freezing and it rained and I got wet! The game was crap, and I realised that Palace really are quite poo at the moment. And I found out that the t-shirt had made me forget my Niquitin lozenges so by the second half I was so angry that I almost passed out shouting at the ref (to the point I had to leave a couple of minutes early as I was so dizzy, and take the next day off work!!) :(

And I found out that the t-shirt had made me forget my Niquitin lozenges so by the second half I was so angry that I almost passed out shouting at the ref (to the point I had to leave a couple of minutes early as I was so dizzy, and take the next day off work!!) :(

How about.....

2012 is expected to be year of great positive change. It is not the end of the world! Back in 1899 something was identified called Schumann Cavity Resonance. It is the heart beat or frequency of the Earth. Since its discovery till 1986 this heart beat frequency was constant 7.8 Hertz per second. From 1986 it started to raise dramatically and in 1998 it was reported to be 10 hertz per second. On other hand magnetics of the earth are dropping dramatically and it is expected they will reach zero point in 2012. Maya calendar and other calendars end in 2012, but it is not the end of the world just beginning of the new one since every 26000 years Earth goes through grand cycle of evolution.

The tablet mentioning the Sumerian flood (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ziusudra) myth, from which it is believed the biblical flood is derived, is dated to around 18th century BC. Now I've always considered it to probably be either a very old tale from the end of the last Ice Age or a massive tsunami. It's a global story though, with deluge myths in such diverse cultures as China, India, Aztecs, Greeks, and the aforementioned Sumerians. Apparently though, it may just be fossilised fish and sea shells that engendered it
