It's my ST renewal. Got a letter stating £300 for this season then the same for next season over 9 monthly instalments of £33 each.
I hadn't renewed for various reasons. I was just gonna cherry pick a few games to go to this season instead.

I played hockey for my regiment. I was very poo and only got picked because I turned up. In my first match I marked the opposition's star striker out of the game by treading all over his feet continually, so he missed all the passes up to him coz he was fighting with me. He refused to shake my hand after the game :(
mrgins
28-08-2008, 12:09 PM
half of my team this year was picked because they were within 300 yards of the field and were breathing
The best part of it all was that during the inter-squadron hockey competition, I was instrumental in our squadron winning. At half time, the squadron we were playing had made a substition (and I'd been subbed off myself), but they hadn't taken anyone off. I counted them all up before the start of the half, let it kick off then told the bloke running the line, he told the ref and they were disqualified. The lad who'd recruited me into the regt team had the hump, he'd been playing over 10 years and never won a medal, I'd been playing just over a fortnight :D

Now...the room mates share one room, Ali has her own room, and the office room is occupied by a pet python. The guy's gf hates the python, her bf has hurt himself and can't give shots to the python to help it heal from burns it recently received, and now the python hates my daughter cos she's the only one who can give the python its shots. Meanwhile, Hurricane gustav has passed over but hurricane hanna is on its way. Oh to be young again...
