I'm not too sure I can without being too offensive :p Having lived away from the place lots, I've got very defensive about it. People who state they hate Croydon have either had a random bad experience in a major urban centre, or are just pandering to the media perception of a place that is conceived to have been built in the 60's, although the history goes back to at least the early saxon period....
(I went to the pub and was nasty and rough and hit people randomly)

Having not lived there since 1989 I think Croydon is great - even when I lived there I thought it was pretty good. Okay so I lived in Waddon but it is almost Croydon.

Food was great :D Beer was good, 7 year Havanna rum n coke was mind ••••••• as usual, black sheep was full of kids (actually unusualy for a monday) until we realised it was sodding half term....
