I think whether Rich plays two people this week or Finbar plays both Rich and No1fan next week they should be able to have 10 different bets against the other person, e.g they would post Bet 1 against No1fan - Palace to win 8-0 5/1 with betfair
If they wanted to put the bet up against both people they could.
If I am sticking my nose in where it isn't wanted then tell me to sod off :)

Yesterday I actually blew it though - I wrote down 5 horses in the morning - the two I put up on here plus one that was unplaced, one that was beaten into 2nd at 13/2 and one that won at 15/2. Guess which one I eventually left out of my Lucky 15. :rolleyes:

Did you? You should have mentioned it. I don't think people normally deduct the "commission" beforehand!?? Also we use 4%.
Was watching the Leeds match (had a bit of money on it as well)..so a nervous few seconds there..but straight at the goalkeeper..:lux: Leeds had 3 shots in the woodwork also btw..

I didn't say I deducted it myself. I used the prices quoted by Odds Checker. I think you'll find they have already deducted the Betfair Commission (at 5% I think) in order to provide a fair comparison with the "standard" bookmakers' prices

Interesting you should say that. I certainly agree with you on a), and don't trust Oddschecker (but do use it as a guide). So if it indicates what is the best price, I then actually go to that bookie's site to confirm the price is correct.
When I do that with Betfair, I almost invariably find the price is slightly higher than Oddschecker has stated, which is why I assumed they adjust their quoted price for commission.

The reason it was like that, is because I actually planned to change my last bet (before posting of course). First I put up the Oldham bet, but then I decided to rather go for a high priced winner in Marseille over Lyon at 6.5. The thinking was that the late start and the high odds would give you something to ponder..but just before clicking the post button I changed it back to the Oldham bet. Chicken.
