I had a great massage in Istanbul a few years ago.

Florence
22-02-2008, 10:07 AM
I think it'll have to be a day trip to The Sanctuary instead. Both Loopy and I have gift vouchers for there. Am looking forward to a hot stone massage and facial.

Princess
22-02-2008, 10:23 AM
How lovely - I haven't been there for ages. Their treatments are really good too.

Florence
22-02-2008, 10:27 AM
I'm currently trying to work out whether it's cheaper to book one of their spa days or to book the treatments we want (including lunch) separately.

Princess
22-02-2008, 10:35 AM
That's a good call - sometimes there is a big difference.

Florence
22-02-2008, 10:36 AM
On the day that we were looking at the treatment I wanted wasn't included. I'll have to do some research methinks!

Princess
22-02-2008, 10:38 AM
It's a great environment too isn't it?

Florence
22-02-2008, 10:44 AM
Lovely. You might not remember but the first time we went for an evening spa session, we didn't have the best of times. Then last year I went with the girls at my last company and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm really looking forward to spending some girly time with Loopy though.

Princess
22-02-2008, 10:53 AM
That's such a lovely thing to be able to do. You'll have such a lovely time.

Florence
22-02-2008, 11:05 AM
Hopefully.

It's turned quite chilly here and the sky isn't looking too good. How's it your end?

He's so stupid he doesn't really know what's going on. His real name is Charlie but we call him braincell 'cos we're not really sure if there's one there or not. :D

Princess
22-02-2008, 09:01 PM
I just tried it with Starman, who is much more docile than Angel (she'd need hospitalising after!) and he wasn't very keen!

apple_rain
22-02-2008, 09:03 PM
Charlie is on his back with his legs in the air in front of the fire at the moment.

Princess
22-02-2008, 09:06 PM
So funny when they do that - Star does that quite a lot. I sometimes sweep the floor with him!!

apple_rain
22-02-2008, 09:13 PM
It's even funnier when they dream when they're lying like that. Their paws seem to be running in mid air.

Princess
22-02-2008, 09:16 PM
Angel sometimes has a dream and wakes up crying, she's like a little baby - it's really sweet.

apple_rain
22-02-2008, 09:21 PM
Do you wipe her little eyes with a soft tissue and give her a reassuring cuddle?

Princess

Of course, she's a very sensitive little thing!

Having flu is awful - it knocks the stuffing out of you and takes about 3/4 weeks to recover. Trouble is you sound as if you need some TLC yourself.

I took an afternoon off to see my mother-in-law who had been taken into hospital a couple of weeks ago. Just had a letter from the council telling me they're docking 2 hours pay. I've not had a day off sick in nearly 4 years, not only that but they didn't tell me I was allowed overtime, I found out from a collegue. So really they owe me about 5 years of overtime that I'll never get. :veryangry

With Summer out of Hollyoaks as Maria - should be good I reckon. Is it worth seeing?

I saw it last year with Connie and loved it. If you love the film you'll love the show. I'm taking my step Mum - she's staying with me right now.

Florence
13-03-2008, 02:09 PM
That'll be nice - is she staying for Easter? I'm going to collect my Mum next week.

Summer has a lovely voice, it'll be interesting to see how the two compare.
