Networking over the Internet!

Does anyone know the best program to use to be able to log onto another computer and share files / folders but not a home network, over the internet?

Also would you happen to know if these programs can just be used to look into one folder instead of being able to remote access an entire desktop on a PC?

Hey Neil - did add another computer once you set it up?? I ask as I have installed this but it only seems to view the computer I am working from! hehe
