Anyone know where we can check this out for sure? Can't find anything on ITV dodgy-tel's site.

I cant keep up with all these Kick Off changes! And why is everyone of them at quarter past the hour?

It allows them to start the programme on the hour so they can talk bolox for 15 minutes before hand.

Like this Sunday when you can see the great presenting talent of Les Ferdinand on Soccer Sunday, starting at 2 ;) . If you aren't going to the game of course

just seen on bbc teletext page 312 that this game has been listed as a rearanged fixture now to take place on sun jan 13th so it may well be on itv1 or itv sport.but i also noticed that coventry v wolves has been rearanged for the same date so dont hold your breath!

Don't worry, chances are that ITV Digital will be on SKY/Telewest come the new year anyway.

No p-take Oisin, sorry.

This is now confirmed as a Sunday game.

So how are we going to make the ITV-digital see sense and schedule our game at 2.15pm and the local derby at 6.15pm??

E-mail/telephone bombardment anyone? C'mon we haven't had one of those for a while ;)

Coventry Vs Wolves will be the one on ITV1. Just like on Sunday when we played Norwich. We kicked off at 2:15 on ITV1 and Wolves kicked off at 6:15 on ITV Sport (I think).

Yes, as it stands at the moment you are right Si121, but it doesn't mean a bit of "persuasion" won't do any harm.

C'mon, let's pick a day and get typing and dialling :D

The Wolves game is for a different region so its not a straight swap anyway. We wonít get that game on LWT.
Of course Iím willing to write anyway but a) I donít fancy our chances b) I donít know who to write to.

cant see it doing any good?

the afternoon game is on terrestrial television. they wont switch that. and they wont have 2 games on at the same time either.

Yeah, don't worry I'm not expecting miracles especially in relation to this game. But a day long "blockade" might just make them think twice about such stupid scheduling in the future.

Are you sure they are showing the our game live and that's just not the TV listing. I remember seeing the Wolves game scheduled on ITV sport last Sunday for 6:15 but it kicked off well before that. Maybe it's the same with this one.

Was confirmed in the programme last night. Deffo 6.15 ko :(

To be honest I was trying to play devils advocado here, trying to see what support there would be for some action... I don't think four of us will make much difference and I was kind of hoping that someone on here might already know who to e-mail and ring at itv-digital.

If I find anything out I will let you know.

Five of us. 6.15 on a Sunday is damned inconvenient.

As much as I hate the way fans are treated by the TV companies and this really is a crap kick off time... I'm quite pleased as I'm coming off nights, so I'll be able to have a decent sleep before travelling north.

Nightmare time to have a match if you wanted to see the match and then get a train home afterwards as it pretty much b*ggers up your whole day!

Papster
06-11-2001, 03:27 PM
This might not be as bad as first thought - I may be wrong, but by my reckoning there is a train at 8.09pm coming home, that gets you to Bromley before midnight (or Croydon). There is also a slightly later one which does the same, but that involves changing at some funny place.

Neil the Eagle

Apart from the fact that you'll miss the last few minutes of the game on 20.09, I can't actually find any details of that one on www.railtrack.co.uk

Can you post further details please.

Triffic - I'll cancel my B&B for the Saturday night then. The rearranged kick off will stop any chance of this becoming a 'Norwich' type pilgramidge. Monday off work then instead.

Just checked out the train times - last train leaving stockport to london that night leaves.......... 5 minutes before end of game!! Plus the ten minute walk back to the station - have to miss another dougie special 3 minutes before end of game!
