09-11-2001, 09:33 PM

The F.A Youth Cup third round tie between Crystal Palace and Wolves will be played at Selhurst Park on Wednesday 5th December 2001, kick-off 7.00pm.

The ticket prices for this match will be as follows: Adults 5, Senior Citizens and Juveniles 1.

This match has to be decided on the night and could go to extra time and penalties.

Does anybody else think 5 is a lot for a youth match ?? I thought we got free entry to youth games with Eagle Gold or is that just league matches ??

Should be loads of atmosphere at that game ... expect a Wimbledon-sized crowd.

Considering youth games used to be about 1 5 pounds is a bit steep isn't it???

Well someone's got me a ticket for this game. Apparently they're only opening two stands ( the Main Stand and the Holmesdale ??). Who else is going?

Two stands sounds about enough. They are worthy of our support just as the first team is

We need to support the youth team, they are the future of the club after all:(

Errr ... I don't think that's very likely, seeing how our management are keen to avoid them playing in the first team !

So who's going? I am, and 917k is rumoured to be making one of his rare appearances, for all you vitriol fans out there.

I think the Fa decide the prices for youth cup games, up at newcastle and also ipswich last year the prices were similar.
good luck to the boys tonight.:

I used to go to see the youth team (when I was about eleven), it was good football. I think I also saw England youth play against Portugal at Selhurst Park with various Palace players playing for England....

Just got back from the game, Palace drew with Wolves 1-1 after extra time and won 4-2 on penalties. Winothai scored for Palace and had an excellent game - he is easily good enough to play for our senior reserve team. Cronin guessed correctly on all but one of their penalties and made two good saves. Dobson and Routledge also had good games.

Photographs to follow!!!
