Can't believe there hasnt been a thread about this already, but now its been on Channel 4 tonight theres no excuse. So what did everyone think? I was disappointed U2 didnt win any, but thats the way it goes. Ali G was much better than the Swedish guy from year.

what have have U2 done to deserve an award this year????

some of the choice's for the winner's of the awards are shocking though...... and ali g was ok....didnt think his improvisation bit at the end was very good though as they were waiting for blink 182(dunno if they showed that on channel 4) he seemed stuck as to what to say/do.

Didn't see it but having seen the winners there was really no point. When I saw the reports with "Limp Bizkit" and "best album" in the same sentence and not followed by the words "comedy section" I decided that I was getting just a little too old for these type of things.

Yeah, but to be fair, I like Craig Dafvid but the fuc* did he get best newcomer??? He's been around for over a year surely.

I have to say that I've never really thought that much of Dido, but she looked absolutely stunning on the night. Fair play gal!

Travis's performance was excellent as usual, and I have to say that as much as I think Craig David is an arrogant tosser, Walking Away was superb.

Ali G was hilarious as usual... the man is class.

Overall, not a bad show at all. :)

Dido may be alright to look at, but her songs are terrible.Her first was alright but i would hate to go to her concert.You would sit there all night saying I thought she just sung that one.
As for Ali G at the awards.Do the Germans know who he is? There were a lot of empty gaps after his jokes.

I didn't think the format suited Ali G, I think he is funny but I didn't think it worked at the awards(which confirmed my belief that music is rubbish at the moment).

I think there are loads of great albums where the songs sound similar at first. It's the constant listening of the album that brings appreciation. Her album is great, I can't wait for her follow up attempt.

Omen, I am pants at using my Computer and I spent ages trying to get a picture of Steve Coppell I had found and trying to get it the right size and everything. I failed and I gave up I am afraid. So my Avatar may look rubbish from a distance but I do have the worlds smallest picture of Sir Steve Coppell.:p

I thought the funniest part of the show was when Bomfunk MC's came on with Sophie Elis Bextor...

I really don't think it was scripted, as SEB seemed to laugh quite nervously afterwards!

Dido looked super-horny on stage...MMMMmmmmmmmmm

Ali G wasn't as funny as I thought he would be, none of the germans could understand him anyway! Thought his p!sstake of Boris Becker was quite funny though.
