You know they say "are you a dog person or a cat person ?".

Well I quite like cats and dogs. But I'm not a fanatic and I hate people that treat their pets as people / substitute babies.

"Ahh, he talks to me what does little tabby want, does tabby want his dinner, does he?" etc etc - Its a bloody animal.

I blame the bloody vet programmes and especially that soppy Battersea dogs home rubbish - on one they had a vet talking about Hong Kong saying it was backward and the people needed "educating" because they treated dogs like animals - like we would treat pigs or cows.

I quite agree, exiled...but my point is that a cat is independent and perfectly capable of looking after itself, whereas dogs (especially small yappy ones - hate the *******s) seem to need this kind of human attention.

My cats caught a mouse this evening, still living and brought in the house. It was so small and my biggest cat is bigger than next doors dog!

Luckily, i am bigger than the cat! So i shut the living room door on one cat, shutting her inside, closed the bathroom door and chased the fatty one out of the back door. Managed to coax the mouse out from its hiding place, opened the front door and let it out! Hopefully it didn't die of shock or the cold or something!

******* cats, as soon as i re-opened the doors they both came in looking and smelling for where the mouse was. Then looked at me like i had ruined their game! :D

Then they both went outside, presumably looking for it.. and came back in again acting like nothing had happened. Wanting a cuddle and to sit with me...

Evil? Yep! But it's in their nature :hmph:
