My first proper look and he impresses me. Reading have spent most of the first half trying to boot him off the park, shameful, Sir Steve. Not only has this young guy got huge ability, but he hasnt dived once nor moaned or griped at the ref. Hes just got on with it. Lovely to see and so unusual in a Spaniard

He has immense pace, can't rememer the game, but a few weeks back he squeezed himself through two defenders and skinned them an absolute peach.
Man of the match.
Simple as...

What I don't get is Rafa resting Torres in the league and bringing him out for the crunch 3rd round Carling cup games.
You could look at it as 4 points dropped in the league recently with their two 0-0 draws at Portsmouth and Birmingham where he was rested.
Why do you need to rest a 20 year old anyway at this stage of the season?

Can't disagree - except about getting kicked off the pitch - that said I was also watching Portugal Romania on RWC

He looks absolute mustard. Rafa showing real signs of being very good int he transfer market (Voronin for free is a steal) but team selection may well see him go the way of Ranieri.

Also rested Gerrard for those games.
Gerrard came on the final 15 mins in last nights game when they were 4-2 up as well. Really don't understand what he is thinking, if you're gonna rest him then rest him. If your gonna get injured then you're probably more likely to in the last 15 mins on as a sub either by pulling something or from a battling Reading tackle.

Torres might just be the man to get Liverpool the title, but wont if he isnt on the bench. Hard to figure managers out sometimes.

Very very impressive from Torres. Absolutely brilliant.
Shame about Reading's pathetic tactics.
