Have decided to watch the rugby on Saturday, so does anyone want to buy a single Hull ticket in the middle of the Arthur? Block U, I think.
Also don't need my ticket for Watford on 29 Oct.
Would accept £20 for the two (total face value is 2 X £16.50). PM me if interested.

16,000 x 20 = 32,000
12,000 x 30 = 36,000
What chance of that? :D

good maths. dont forget that more fans means more food and drink, more sales in the club shop and more chance to come again. (or maybe not once they have witnessed pt style dull performances)

And not all the crowd will be coming in on family day passes... Even so, I can't see it.

doesn't work like that and you know it
I can see Watford only bringing a few hundred at £30 a hit. 13,000 tops for that game.

Approx 11,000 season ticket holders have paid upfront. so its more like
5,000 x 20 = 100,000
1,000 x 30 = 30,000.
hmmm...

Far more realistic than the previous table but never going to happen due to the price of Season Tickets already paid for by everyone.

The club have just introduced yet another new offer. A half season ticket with the three home games in December thrown in for free.
Or, to put it another way, they will sell you a ticket covering 14 of the 23 home games for half of the cost a full season ticket was just before the start of the season.
That's actually a pretty good deal which probably works out at about £19 per game in the Arthur or Lower Holmesdale, but I still don't think there'll be much of a take up.

All these offers popping up all the time reminds me of double glazing sellers - you never quite know what the price is going to be, because they're always coming up with new offers, discounts and schemes.
Not being funny but there's
single tickets,
family group of tickets for a game
3 match deals
6 match deals
half season tickets with 3 extra games
full season tickets
top up your full season ticket offers
multi-season tickets 2 or 3 years at the lowest price
5 years, 10 years, 25 and 50 years
some have the offer of free season if we get promoted before 2010, others offered free programme vouchers is you paid with a Palace credit card,
I know they're doing their best to try and find a deal to suit everyone and fill as many seats as possible, but what we need is a simple price structure, with the prices clearly published well in advance, so that everyone knows that to come to this or that game it costs £XX
I suspect because of all the long term deals already in operation, we're stuck with the pricing structure we've got for quite a few more years and so the only way to get casual fans to buy tickets in any great numbers is to come up with even more packages, ticket bundles and offers
