I hope he's a better manager than he was a player.

That was against Wolves at home that goal!
Oh and Humphrey was a right back, and Sinnott a left back!

Apparently he's done very well at Farsley Celtic, but it all appears a bit up in the air today - FC board are saying he's resigned, but he's denying it, and has turned down the Port Vale job!

Loved Lee Sinnott, thought we were going to push on buying good players and we bought him with his incredibly square head.
Rubbish player, but I always wanted him to do well.

I think he gets undue stick. He's always named as one of our worst ever players but whilst he was distinctly average he was at the club at a time when we had a very good team. There have been plenty worse over the years.

Sinnot was an adequate back-up centre half, but was played at left back, where his lack of any attacking ability drove us to despair.
(Meanwhile, Coleman, who'd played left back for all of his career so far, was playing centre forward, while some apparently promising young striker called Collymore was stuck in the reserves)

As Addiscombe Eagle said, we'd just finished 3rd, fans were hoping we'd strike in the transfer market while the iron was hot.....
....the only player we bought was Lee '50p head' Sinnott.
