Was thinking about this recently?
Which actions by a manager or player/players have antagonized the crowds to such an extent, that they begin to resemble a mob of rabid Romans baying for blood at the Coliseum.

I would have to say that mine would be:

Graham Souness upon winning the Turkish league/Cup with Galatasaray against arch rivals Fenerbace, runs to the centre spot at the Fenerbache Stadium and plants a huge Galatasaray flag.

Gazza and the Sectarian flute symbolism to Celtic Fans

Paul Ince signing for West Ham.

I seem to remember Eric Cantona riling the fans at a game I was at once.

Clive Allen also upset me at another match.

Alan Mullery also, although I was too young to attend that one.

Forgot about that one - you could add several other teams to the list that AJ gave it to as well

I vaguely remember (ex-Brighton) Johnny Byrne winding us up at Oxford when they scored in 93-94 around Xmas. Made the win even sweeter.

That was a great day :p

Really? How did he do that? Doesn't sound like the loveable chap we all remember.

Stan Collymore scoring against us then running over to the Arthur Wait to give it to the Palace fans. Remember seeing palace fans streaming down the aisles to try to get to him.

I meant Paul Ince signing for Man Utd I think Paul Ince posed in a Utd shirt while he was still a WH player. That's what you call antagonistic behaviour.

To be fair to Stan, he did get dog's abuse during that game, and then he and his team did proceed to piss all over us - that's assuming it was when he was with Forest. Can't really blame him for rubbing the fans' noses in it.

He ran over to the Arthur with that talented dutch guy whose name I've forgotten where there were a bunch of Japanese supporters holding a banner for the Dutch bloke.

By the way, 'piss all over us' was not meant literally. As far as I know, Stan had not began a career as a sexual deviant at that time.

Allen by a country mile. Not impressed with Routledge when he threw the shirt down either.

I would say this has to be the most crazy thing ever done in football considering how much the clubs/fans hate eachother.

From a personal point of view it would be Cantona, the froggy c*nt!
