Me and my mates always say u gotta play with 2 wingers cos if u play all your players in the middle eg 3 2 2 2 1 then it makes it too easy to win, anyone else play this

by the way one of the best cheap players in the game is lunden

also the most important part of the game is the forward runs and marking, anyone agree?

David Prutton from Forest, play him at DMC and watch him score in every other game. Or at least he does for me in Season 1 at Roma.

I always play a 4-3-1-2. With the 1 moving upwards and the left sided striker going inside.

Always put your wingers, AMC and strikers making forward runs and running with the ball. The DMC should not make forward runs, but should do Pressing. I think every player should take long shots, and only the midfielders and strikers to try through balls.

Lunden is mighty fine - my top scorer despite being midfield!, however I do not play wingers.
Wing-backs for me, Seth Johnson and Steve Finnan.
Coming towards end of 2nd season, 6th in prem.

I also suggest Cesar of real madrid (transfer listed), and Joleon Lescott.
But 3-5-2 - with one attacking minded cent mid (Lunden).

Which one? There's two players called Cesar at Real Madrid :confused: One's their sub GK and the otehr is a young defender

First off, I have to admit to using the data editor to correct some of the rather poor "asessments" CM01/02 has of some of Palace's best players.....namely Freedman, Morrison, Gray, Popovic. ( I mean, compare Dougie with a lot of other Div 1 strikers and he has a lower ability ! What are they on ???)

Here we go then.

3 DC Mullins, Symons (using editor to transfer him), Popovic
ML Gray
2 MC Thomson, Aki
MR Rubins (shock he's not bad in CM)
AMC Kirovski or Hopkin
2 FC Morrison, Freedman

ML and MR make foward runs and cross ball and have zonal marking. AMC makes forward runs and no marking. (but drops back to midfield without the ball) MC's have Hard tackling on and zonal marking. FC's make forward runs, and have pressing off.
Team passing is short, using normal or attacking play depending on opponents style.

Going well in my first season, trying hard to sell off sub-standard players like Pollock, Rodger and Harrison and strengthen the squad as, just as in RL, if any of the first 11 are out things start to go wrong :rolleyes:

My best buy so far is Steven(i think that's his first name) Reid. he is 21 and irish and is a d/m/f/rlc. he doesn't score a ton, but gets loads of assists and has a knack for scoring important goals.

I got on a free Daniel Amokachi and Marco Negri to go with Clinton and Dougie. Amokachi is worth 5 mill Negri is 3 mill.
The thing is Aki was my top scorer this year with 19 goals
