In the Liverpool vs Arsenal game out of the 22 players who started the game only 2 were English. I dont know how Arse supporters can accept having a team without a single English player, it would really break my heart.

As you say though, Liverpool werent much better with just Gerrard and Carragher in the team.

Yes, but Arsenal fans would argue if they did have their own English players in their side, they probably wouldnt be in the last eight of the Champions League.
English players that would be available to buy (So discount Gerrard & Rooney) are no way near the quailty of the likes of Hleb, Fabregas, Van Persie, Adebayor etc...
If English players were as good, Wenger has always said he would have no qualms about playing them, but that fact is, they aren't.

Who cares anyway? The national side does nothing for me, I don't even watch England/The Prem when it's on the tele.
If you want to watch young decent english/british players who play for there hometown club, come to C.P!
