We have our 7th game this Friday at Lewes FC for The Robert Eaton Memorial Trophy match this Friday 11th April 7.45 pm kick off at Lewes FC.

There will be 2 superb supporters teams playing in a fierce but friendly rivalry for the Trophy. BHAFC supporters lead 4-2 after 6 games but the CPFC supporters are desperate to win the trophy back and take it back up the M23 to Croydon this Friday.

This game was borne after the terrible events of 9/11 when Robert Eaton an avid BHAFC fan lost his life in the North Tower and was one of 67 Britons who died that terrible day. This evil act knocked the Worlds axis off kilter but the fund that was formed in the days after this event will ensure that a great good can come from a senseless loss of life.

Many people will remember the first game at Southwick FC when nearly 1000 people came along and saw a thrilling 4-4 draw with CPFC winning on penalties. Everyone had a good night and we raised 25000 in the 2 months since 9/11. Los Peladitos an academy of Hispanic children playing football on poor facilities in Queens , New York were benefactors for the first 3 years receiving an initial 230 set of kits and 150 footballs and other equipment. The fund made a huge difference to these kids and Roberts name carried on. We gave a 3 year package to Los Peladitos.

In the last 3 years we have supported 8 local Sussex football teams for youths to gain equipment they were struggling to find and we also gave 4 sets of kit to a childrens team in Croydon in recognition of the wonderful support the supporters of Crystal Palace FC have give us.

We have also given a 3 year grant to Coaching for Hope which helps AIDS orphans in Mali to play football in Africa they simply could not afford to do without aid and gave a grant to the Seagulls Specials , Albion in the community project to recognise the superb support we have had from BHAFC.

The fund plans to continue to support Youth Teams in the Sussex and Croydon areas and other worthwhile projects and after 6 years continues to go from strength to strength.

Friday will be a great night out. There is a bar, catering, raffle, auction and appearances fron the legend Ricky Marlowe and Peter Taylor, ex Albion manager CPFC manager and player and England international and manager.

It is only 5 to get in with under 16's for free.

So if you are at a loose end Friday please come along and you can be assured of a great night and a warm welcome and all the profits will go to the REMF a fund all BHAFC and CPFC supporters can be truely proud of.

Can comeone bring down a Palace scarf for the faint chance you might win the match as I need it for the trophy.

Would you like an FA Cup final, a Play Off Final or a Prmiership scarf? ;)

Sure i can dig one out (in the very unlikely event)
