upload speeds

im currently on the virgin media 2mb broadband package and whilst the download speed is actually better than 2mb when i tested it the upload speed is only 0.15mb, any ideas what it should be and how can i increase it??

its pissing me off cos i cant play mario kart online it keeps disconnecting halfway through race 2!!

It should be 256Kbps (0.25 Mbps). The only way to increase it is to upgrade to a better package or change provider to one that offers a higher upload speed.

It's completely standard that upload speeds are much smaller than download speeds - that's what the A in ADSL means.

Yep sounds about right, its 2mbps down, 200kbps up. Chances are you are being disconnected due to the wifi to the Wii. Changing the channel helps a lot.
