Paul Ifill has compared Crystal Palace's teenage sensation Victor Moses to former World Footballer of the Year George Weah.

The 17-year-old produced another fine display and scored the Eagles' second goal as they boosted their play-off hopes with a 2-0 win over Watford at the weekend.

Having seen Moses make a big impact this season, Eagles winger Ifill believes the forward can go on to achieve great things.

"I don't want to say too much about him because I don't want him to get a big head but it is frightening some of the things he can do," he said.

"He is some player. I have played with some good kids coming through, like Stephen Reid and Tim Cahill and Vic can be as as good as he wants to be.

"He reminds me of George Weah in a way he moves the ball around. When he scored his goal I was expecting a cross like everyone else. He ends up putting the ball in the net. I was left feeling stupid, so who knows what the defenders felt like."
