Everything counts now, no second chances, is going without one a risk we should still take for the rest of the season how ever long it lasts?

I think it is a must if we do make the play-offs

I was worrying about this yesturday so looked at the Sheffield United Teams for their play-off finals and the match against Wigan last year there was a keeper on the bench. I guess when there it is such an important game Warnock doesn't risk being left without a goalkeeper

Fletch

Wow, 7 each! IMO for an important game you need a keeper on the bench.

But who is there? I'd rather have Fletch than Flinders!

I would actually seriously go along with this.

If we had a decent back up, I would have him on the bench, but Flinders is so bloody awful I would have as much confidence in an out field player playing in goal!!!

id have to have one on the bench for the playoffs, speroni should probably have been sent off twice this season against ipswich home and away and i think he is probably only one yellow away from a suspension, unless they get cleared after so long??

Neil Warnock doesn't even take an experinced Goalkeeper with the team on away matches, he has only been taking one of the academy Goalies to assist Jim stannard in warming up Speroni pre-match. I think this is a dangerous game to play, but I ain't complaining about that!

Fletch is probably a better keeper than a midfielder anyway.

Kieron Thorp has been going to the games I think, he was before when both Wilkinson and Flinders were on loan. Not sure who would be on the bench, are we not allowed an "emergency" loan now then?

You obviously didn't see his performance away at Bristol City...

Sorry, I've never rated him from the day he joined. He can't even run properly. Can't tackle, can't pass, can't shoot.

for me it is one hell of a gamble not to have a sub goalie if speroni does get sent off or injured. i have noticed that the opposition have bullied him at times this season in hope he will get injured/lose his rag because they are aware there is no sub goalie. but i am not to argue with nw

A good question. But not having a sub goalkeeper has been symbolic of the positivity on which our good run has been based. If we now have a goalkeeper on the bench it will be a sign of us reverting to being cautious and would send out the wrong message. So let's keep an attacking, positive outlook: its a risk, but its one that has got us this far.

I'd have one if we made the play offs for the second leg, and the final should we get that far. Unless Fletch is considered to be good enough to play in goal for a whole 90 minutes, an actual keeper would, I think, be a necessity.

I'd have one in the play-off final.

A slight exaggeration of his deficiencies perhaps but by no means ridiculous.

David Wilkinson.

He's done well when playing for the reserves and is highly thought of at the club. He has to be a better bet than a 'part-time' keeper.

Need one in the play offs if we get there (obviously not if we don't!)

Is Nico Vaesson available on loan ?? or even Thomas Mhyre.
Would be a good omen if nothing else ;)
