Crystal Palace are set to make a massive overhaul on their attack. Aston Villa's Nathan Delfonsou is set to come in on a season long loan with Josh McEachrean also coming in on a season long from Chelsea. Real Madrid are also set to let Juan Lopez leave for Crystal Palace for £200,000 with an option to buy back if the player if he develops well.
Craig Forsyth is also a done deal for £100,000 and will be completed soon also Graig Gardner is a cert to sign on a 3 year deal after his release from Hull City. Jose Semedo will also sign (Charlton fans need to get their heads out the sand on this). Jordan Rhodes will also sign for £650,000 and complete and sign a 3 year deal.

Other targets for Palace include Marco Van Ginkel of Arnhem, Jose Baxter of Everton, Kagisho Dikagcoi of Fulham and Nathaniel Chalobah of Chelsea.

Palace have had a 975k bid accepted for Jordan Rhodes!

Now upto other teams to match this before his future is decided. Of the two teams on offer, in palace and milwall, the eagles are the strikers first choice unless a bigger club comes in very soon. He is expected at the beckenham training ground Friday lunchtime to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical failing other teams interest.

Watford became aware of contact between Cardiff and Mackay's representatives, hence releasing statement emphasising no OFFICIAL approach had been made. However, this official approach is expected today or tomorrow, in time for Mackay to return from his holiday over the weekend.

Mackay is believed to be happy to stay at Watford but is seeking some reassurances regarding the new owner's future plans, and available funds to strengthen squad following recent sales.

Kevin Phillips was set to sign, but upon returning from holiday, he now has another offer from a rival Championship club to consider, rumoured to be Coventry in the wake of Marlon King's u-turn.

Craig Conway was also set to sign, with Watford attempting to secure a pre-contract agreement months ago, however he is understood to be favouring a move to Palace now and this should become official at the beginning of next week.

Ian Henderson of Colchester is Watford's next favoured option, and a bid of £175k was placed at the beginning of the week for the former Norwich man. Originally a striker, but more recently a right winger, he is in the final year of his contract. Watford had a similar offer rejected in the January transfer window.

The Marlon King thing is just so typical of the scum bag - Coventry take the gamble on helping him get his career back, he seemingly says he is going to stay and the chairman goes public with it only for him to then renege and go to Brum - nasty nasty person - can't believe that some fans wanted us to go for him.

Palace will rival Millwall, Watford and Peterborough in the signature of Jordan Rhodes but it looks like Palace are leading the race. Danny Green of Dagenham and Redbridge is a target but Peterborough have stolen Palace's march as they would have preferred to see what happens over the summer with Danns and Ambrose but may be forced to make a bid if Peterborough do have a bid accepted. Jose Semedo deal looks unlikely as Charlton look set to hold on to their man. Palace did hold talks with the Portuguese midfielder but he looks set to stay at The Valley. Kagisho Dikgacoi will hold talks over a possible transfer but the signing will depend if Dikgacoi is willing to ply his trade in the Championship and whether Martin Jol wants to hold onto him. Freedman is also looking to add two central defenders with the prime targets being Danny Shittu and Gianni Zuiverloon. Matthew Kilgallon is also being closely watched. Craig Conway is still mulling over his options with Rangers, Watford and Ipswich also interested in the Scottish wide man. George Boyd is being looked at as an alternative but whether Peterborough are willing to let go of one of their prized assets leave is uncertain. Palace are willing to sign at the right price but their promotion to the Championship may force his price through the roof. Chris Burke is also holding talks with Palace."

If all of that was true we'd have a cracking team next season. Murray, Rhodes, Conway, Boyd AND Burke :D Obviously it won't all happen, and I can imagine if those were our targets, some of them would be backup options if others in this list did not sign. But still, if we got any three of those players, I would be ecstatic!

Crystal Palace Transfer News

There were many players at the Beckenham training ground yesterday.

Jordan Rhodes was there discussing terms but his wage demands are too high, considering the fee we have agreed is £850k + add ons that could take it up to £1.2mil. Dougie is seeking an alternative in Robert Earnshaw who is on a free and willing to take a pay cut in order to get regular football.

Ambrose has handed in a transfer request after hearing of interest from QPR and Norwich. QPR is Ambrose's preferred choice but they will need to up their bid to compete with Norwich's £1.6 million offer.

Obviously Danns is on his way out and informed Dougie of this definitely yesterday. Not sure whether he's decided where to go yet but his agent is holding out for Rangers to firm their interest.

It has been made well known of Ajax's interest in Clyne. There were Ajax scouts at the last 2 Palace games of the season after Edgar Davids informed them of Clyne's potential. If Van der Wiel is sold this summer, then they will put in a £2.5million offer for Clyne. If not, they will wait until January before trying to get him for compensation. Prem interest in Clyne could force Ajax to show their hand.

As has already been said many times, Semedo and Forsyth have both signed pre-contracts. Anthony Gardner to West Ham is just agent talk at the moment, but it is unclear whether he will be signing for Palace despite it looking almost certain just a number of weeks ago. Birmingham were never interested because they knew Anthony wanted to live in London.

If Ambrose goes, Palace will lodge an offer for P'Boro's George Boyd, who is also a Palace fan.

Palace have turned down a £3million offer for Wilfred Zaha from Tottenham.

Palace to sign Juan Lopez, in a 350k, 4 year deal, with Real Madrid having a £4mil buy back clause. CPFC also closing in on Craig Forsyth, despite interest from Watford. Anthony Gardner has snubbed the Eagles and is in talks with Norwich, Southampton and Millwall. Gardner will favour a move to Norwich, but should that fall through the Eagles are his first choice. Palace have pulled out of the race to sign Jordan Rhodes as a hefty £1.2million price tag has been slapped on the young striker. Dougie Freedman has offered Earnshaw and contract but he has many options. Clinton Morrison is Freedman's plan B in a 100k deal that would see Calvin Andrew go the other way. QPR and Norwich have both enquired about Darren Ambrose but no firm offers have been made. Should Ambrose leave, the Eagles will attempt to sign Crystal Palace fan, George Boyd.

Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has no intention to splash the cash this summer, as he feels there are some real bargains available.

Crystal Palace set to sign bobby hassell from barnsley to replace nathaniel clyne who is almost certain to leave.

They are also looking at danny green from dagenham and redbridge to replace neil danns, and james dunne from exeter to bolster the midfield.

Keith Treacy is being looked at as freedman wants a left footed winger, after conway and forsyth deals look off.

Gardner will sign for a free ending the weeks of speculation about who he will join.

True, but can't see Freedman investing that in players like Treacy that will cost a lot anyway. I think Green is a good shout, a creative midfielder is what we need.

In my opinion though the most important position we need to fill is the defensive midfielder. Was no coincidence that QPR won the league with Derry, and I think this is where we should be looking to recruit the best we can

Juan Lopez is expected to complete his switch from Real Madrid to Crystal Palace by 1st July which manager Dougie Freedman has given as his deadline date for getting players over the line.

Despite his Dismissal of Rumours over the past week, it is reported there has been contact made between CPFC and Robert Earnshaw.

DF's lack of a center half signing should signal that he expects Anthony Gardner to complete his move despite rumours otherwise.

also on Freedmans shopping list is a holding midfielder, a winger and another striker.

Palace are also looking at Signing Robbie Savage on a one year deal, though it is believed to be as Co-Chairman Steve Parish's Personal Stylist, rather than in a central midfield role, though the club would hold his registration, just in case. ;)

Ibrahima Sonko, the Stoke centre-half who has recently been released has been courted, along with Anthony Gardener of Hull (and on loan with Palace last season.)

Let's be honest, both are a bit suspect pace-wise and probably a bit too similar in style to compliment/cover for each other, but both are good CB's in their own right and better than some of the crap we've had in recent years.

If Gardner had a bit more aggression and really attacked headers he could be a top CB though.

Jordan Rhodes, Keith Treacy and David Nugent all set to sign on for Crystal palace,

Calvin Andrew/Jermaine Easter plus 1mil for Rhodes
Treacy = unsure as to what the details are as yet
David Nugent on a free and low wages as he wants to guarentee 1st team football and get CPFC in the prem.

Reliable sources close to their training ground in Beckenham have confirmed that discussions have been held with all 3 and all 3 agreeing T's+C's etc.

Only problem will be if Huddersfield agree to the fee plus player

Not your ordinary rumour, this one has alot of force behind it
--------------------------

This one has a lot of force behind it, it's not that hard to write rubbish. Which you have. If it was true then it would be on sports websites but it ain't.
