Only with Palace would this happen. About 2/3rds into my first season as Palace manager, I got sacked :grrr: . I was about 5th at the time, and promotion was looking likely.

So...after a few years, I become Leeds manager. I finish 7th in my first season with them and then in my second, win the Premiership. I won it on the last day of the season :-). Best thing was tho, was getting my own back on ahem a certain chairman after Palace finished second!

Keep you posted on the Eagle's Champions League travels!

Sounds like Palace did pretty well without you as manager.

hehe :sob: Yep sure they are doing well, but they've had... Frank Riijkard as manager, Trevor Francis as manager and now Arsene Wenger!

Oh. Make sense then. but hey, look on th bright side. the only reason they are doing well is because you bought all there good players. :D

:) thanks. I did buy Fausto Rossini for them. Over the past three seasons he has got an average of 8.00, quite impressive.
