I have to admit i was one of the people involved in the punch up on the pitch the last time we played at QPR on the last day of the season. The funny thing was a mate of mine who got 15 yards on the pitch and ran into another palace supporter which promptly splattered his nose, returning to the terrace with a bloody nose alot of the palace supporters started chanting "hero hero" at him. I must add i do not participate in any violence now and my previous offences were very few.

i remeber that game well. Crap, Neil Sullivan in goal, Humprey own goal. I remeber charging onto the pitch as well, to witness the sight of a police horse charging at me, i got out of the way with a couple of yards to spare.

I have never liked QPR since the last time that Coaching genius Venables destroyed us and cost us several years of dross when he moved most of our squad and staff west. But what about that amazing FA cup quarter final in the early eighties played on plastic. The one where poor old John Burridge got Cantona'rd from behind by one Palace fan in the first half which was followed by a great deal of fighting and several pitch invasions throughout the match and when Clive Allen who had deservedly been getting a load of stick from us having been a worse purchase for us than even Gabbiadini was to become, scored towards the end of the match to send QPR into the semis and ran the full length of the pitch to stick his fingers up at us.Bedlum ensued.

I remember that game like it was yesterday. That Burridge incident is so vivid, as is Clive wanker Allen's 2 fingers. And how did they get away with that sh*tty plastic pitch for so long, it produced terrible football not to mention untold carpet burns I'm sure.

The year for the latest pitch invasion was 1992. I remember standing with Palace fans behind the dugout, everywhere there seemed to be pissed up Palace in Policemans helmets, when the trouble broke out at the end I remember trying to get my girlfirend off the terrace as evryone surged forward to get at fighting QPR fans. It's not often that people think of Palace as a bunch of nutters, but from that day on she thought we were. She was from Brighton and as they had been relegated that afternoon it wasn't a good day for her.

i thought it was a top day on the beer, and what made it better was the scum being relegated.

I remeber going to Loftus Road for a ZDS game, when we beat them 3-2, whith a Ninja diving header to put us three nil out, and saw us almost throw it away.

Anyway for some strange reason I was in the ground 40 minutes early on a deserted terrace with a couple of mates. Somehow we managed to get a football and had a kick around on the terrace before the stewards got pissed.

Tomario, I was at the same ZDS game, the one when just over 4,000 turned up. Did you remember the QPR fans going mental and going onto the pitch after they scored a third "goal", only for it to be disallowed?

Aah the ZDS, who went to Middlesbrough away for one of the greatest Palace victories ever? 3-2 in the last minute. Myself and the maltese eagle were both there, it was the most amzing end to a game which ended in our favour! Anyone also remember Soton away in the then Simod Cup all we had was the cage in the corner and we put out the top flight club..memories.
