Rudi Hedman, Gary O'Reilly, Perry Suckling, Mark Dennis (probably jail), Eric (the Ninja) Young, and John Humphrey. For some reason I have no-idea what happened to these players, who they were sold to or what they're doing now, in fact in some cases it's hard to even remember their names.

Johnny, I've no idea what Roger Hoy is doing these days, but do you remember the blinding header he scored against Chelsea from (if I remember correctly) outside the penalty area! It was a cracker. We lost 4-1 I think but the Big Match showed the goals the next day and I still couldn't beleive that header.

Eric the Ninja was studying for his accountancy exams when he was still with Palace.

Humphrey is still playing Non League football. Can't remember who for, but it's the club that Darren Pitcher has just left.

Al,i do remember Roger Hoy scoring a screamer against Chelsea,i think it was in the FA cup in 1970.I'd love to see this goal again,it's been 29 years!.When do you think someone will compile a Palace goals collection from the 60's and early 70's?.I've got a couple of games on video from this era (5-3 defeat against Man U,5-1 against Arsenal in 69 etc) that i've taped off the tv in recent years-but there must be so many old Palace games rotting in some film library somewhere, just waiting to be rescued.
Back to the subject of "where are they now" there is a great book of the same title out at the moment, that you can get from Sports Pages in Caxton walk, off the Charing Cross road.It features thousands of ex-league players and what they're doing now-mostly players from the 50's,60's and 70's.It's well worth a read.Bobby Kellard deals in Antiques,John Craven and Terry Dyson died recently,Gerry Humphries drives a cab in Wales,Bobby Tambling ended up as a hod carrier after his sports shop went bust.......you won't have to go out and buy the book if i go on much longer

Now would certainly be a good time to bring out a compilation of Palace goals from way back when. LWT library must have thousands as they quite often featured the Palace on the Big Match. Why, we even won goal of the season a couple of times if my memory serves me - Don Rogers super goals! Ah, those were truly the days! Who'd have thought we'd ever be in the situation we are today way back then?
