PS2? X-Box? GameCube?

What is the best? You decide. Personally I have a PS2 but many of my friends have been making admiring glances at the X-Box. But hey, Mr Gates already has too much money. As for the GameCube, my personal view is that it is too 'kiddified'.

PS2 at the moment, but it has had a head start as it was released a year ago now.

This poll will be better next year when the GameCube and X-Box have had a bit of time on the shelves.

I've got an x-box and a cube, both very good. Halo on the X-box is good. I said I'd never get one, but I just couldn't resist...........

Sorry Paf, you have got this one wrong. The X-box and gamecube will be only as good as the tittles released for them.As Sony have all the major games houses producing for them and a strong history of games ie Tomb Raider, it will be hard for the new consoles to break the market. PS2 is brillant and although I could be wrong I cant see anything other than it getting better and better(unless sony appoint TF as the CEO):o

Bought a PS2 mag at the weekend. Noticed Sega are releasing a lot of their best Dreamcast games on there! Expect Virtua Tennis 2K2 and a few other classics before long.

I'd say PS2 at the mo because i have one :p and i haven't seen a lot of the other two yet. my opinion will probably change once i have!

Hi Gooders son here again, how can anyone say that the Gamecube is a 'Kiddies Console' ?? Have you seen the movies of Resident Evil Bio-hazard, and the other 4 resi games? also, James Bond, Die Hard, Rogue Leader?? Sure, Nintendo will bring out Kiddies Games like Cel Zelda and Smash Brothers Melee, But they will be Classics!:D

I don't have much to judge by but I think the PS2 will still be the biggest console on the market by the end of the year. They'll probably cut the price down to £150 with GT3 or MGS2 before long. Peope are saying they have all the games developers on there side but that is untrue, Most developers are now developing for the PS2, Gamecube and X-Box. Don't know who is best out of making the games with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft cos I think a lot of this will also be the reason of the biggest console.

I would have to go for the Gamecube, this is for the purist gamer... nothing like a DVD drive to try and shift a few more consoles. The GameCube is the one of me :p

You are joking ? Say what you like about the credentials of the consoles themselves, but when it comes down the controllers it's a simple fact - the GameCube one is the best, the PS2 comes second and the X-Box one isn't placed anywhere because it's absolutely appalling.

I cannot believe you have used a Gamecube controller for comparison. If you had, I'm convinced you wouldn't rate the PS2 one as better.
