McGhee's first game a manager in European competition, and a team who struggled to get crowds above 4k+ when they were in admin suddenly takes 3k to France. Can't think who I want to win this one. ;)

Yep, I'll be supporting Motherwell all the way. I don't mind Mghee at all even though he was at Milwall and Brighton. :lux:

I disliked McGhee before he even managed Millwall. In fact one of the best things about before the play-off final in 1997 was all the anti-McGhee songs outside the Duke of York. :D

I would be amazed if Motherwell end this game with eleven players on the pitch.

1-0 FT.
And if some of the Nancy players thought it was cold in France they're in for a big shock for the second leg.

I think this is actually not too bad a result for Motherwell. Nancy are a tough side and I think if Motherwell can get some fans behind them in Scotland then they have a good chance of causing an upset.

Agree with this. Would have been nice for Motherwell to have scored an away goal but I can see them winning two or even three nil at Fir Park. Come on the Steelmen!!

2-0 to Nancy in the second leg, 3-0 on aggregate, barely 20 minutes gone. All going wrong for McGhee. :lux:
