More or less agree there Neil, just one error though...it was Palace 1 Sheff U 0 in the Play-off final!

I would've stuck Arsenal 1 Palace 2 in there somewhere.

Now how about the 10 worst?!

When it comes to the worst nearley every away game under Venables would qualify, but here goes;
Leicester 1 Palace 0
Palace 0 Coventry 2
Ch*ls*a 6 Palace 2
QPR 6 Palace 0

Wimbledon 4 Palace 0

How bloody depressing and whatsmore I'm sure there are tonnes more that could be included!

I know, I should've asked for the top 100 worst! All those games in the dark ages of the 80s. Like Palace 0 Hull 2. And all the defeats to Shrewsbury. But just about every home game from our last Premiership campaign has got to be up there.

Sorry Neil, I've turned your chirpy thread into a miserable one! I'll compromise then...the best 10 draws not including the Cup Final.

Some of my favorite games are
Palace 3 Blackburn 3
Palace 5 Pompey 1
Reading 1 Palcae 6
Millwall 1 Palace 4
Palace 1 Derby 1 (with a last minute Deano equaliser).
Everton 1 Palace 2 (only time I've seen us win first day).
Palace 1 Millwall 0 (Armstrong)

palace 8 southend 0 i really enjoyed us thrashing somone

palace 3 luton 1 in the ZDS 1990/1, palace played fairly well but it wa kelvin morton at his best. sent off two luton players and their coach.

reading 1 palace 6 i live in reading and really enjoyed the week after at work.

palace 5 portsmouth 1 southgates goal was the my favourite palace goal of all time

palace 3 liverpool 4 goes without saying really.

palace 4 everton 1, great to win something at wembley

palace 3 wimbledon 2, salako in goal, sending off's goals what more could you want.

palace 3 man u 0 i know they played a crap side but we still stuffed them.

palace 3 ipswich 2 all going pear shaped off the field but we do well.

Right Chocks,

A shamelessly personal best ten draws from the 90's (& in no particular order):

1. CP 2 Leeds 2 - FAC3 1997 (The incomparable Nige and Leif at his very worst)
2. CP 3 Blackburn 3 - Lge 1992 (Rodger in the last minute!)
3. CP 2 MU 2 - FACSF 1995 (despite what happen away from ground)
4. Sampdoria 1 CP 1 - Baretti Tourny 1990 (I was there! Rudi won the Pen shoot out for us)
5. Liv 1 CP 1 - LgeCup4 1992 (Just been stuffed 5-0 there on the Sat, but should have won three days later with a youth team out, only the Ref to blame)
6. CP 0 Arse 0 - Lge 1998
(Herman v Bergchump and return of Wrighty to my affections)
7. Sporting Gijon 2 CP 2 - Costa Verde Tourny 1992
(Good fightback from two down - collymore's best first team performance [that's not saying much though])
8. CP 3 Leics 3 - LgeCup2/1 1999 (A very funny game)
9. Leeds 1 CP 1 - Lge 1992 (Leeds were Champs that year but we didn't lose to them that season - Thomas scored a cracker with his right)
10. Norwich 3 Palace 3 - Lge 1991 (A game of shocking defending - great fun!)

Hands up time - I started this thread to assist me in some reserch I'm doing for a Palace Echo article, perhaps asking for people to list their 10 best games was a bit too ambitious, so if you've got any real fave's from the 90's that aren't already mentioned can you post them here please.

Neil, didn't we play Fiorentina in that Italian tournament in 1990? I remember watching it live on Raiuno on cable, when we played in a stadium that looked like a school playground. They wore purple and we wore the original yellow and black kit that was abandoned for the crap one in the Final replay the previous season. I think we took the lead but lost 2-1.

Chocky, Correct in every detail.

We played Sampdoria two days later in the "playground" for third & fourth place. The first time we finished third that season!

You didn't video it by chance? I'd love to see it again.

My favorite has to be the Sheffield Utd Play-Off final but equally as memorable was the second leg of the play-off at Wolves a couple of weeks before. An unbelievable seige-like atmosphere, excruciating tension and huge relief at the end.
