My colleague has a Swedish->English dictionary, printed in 1993 in Sweden.

On the front cover is a picture of a newspaper seller sitting outside Piccadilly Circus station, readin the Evening News. The front page headline is "Crystal Palace Stars Arrested" and two pictures. I can't make out who they are, but they have decidedly dodgy 80's haircuts, so the picture may be a lot older than the dictionary.

Can anyone shed any light to what this may be about ??

Dodgy 80s haircuts suggests it was Barry Silkman(now someone's agent) and Rachid Harkouk who got nicked for passing forged banknotes. Can't remember if the did time, although Harkouk went to QPR which amounts to the same thing.

They got done for forging 250,000 USD and got suspended sentances.

Rash the smash went to QPR for £150,000
Silkman went to Man City (Big Mal signed him) for £100,000

According to yesterday's Advertiser, Barry Silkman is Simon Rodger's agent. I'm sure he must be a much more responsible citizen now. Anyone know what his current hairstyle is?

Completely off topic, but just thought that this would be an apt place for the 3,000,000 post - it was the earliest one I could find. Was this the first ?
