Ello, Ello- it's 'Ginge' the copper

I just saw 'Ginge' on the tube, this morning- I havn't seen him around at Palace for
years. I do remember him paying a visit to the fans singing and dancing in Oxford St
after the 6-0 drubbing at QPR. Anyone got any memories of this Palace legend?

Even though Ginge travelled with Palace for the old bill, I beleive he was a West Ham fan. I thought that he was a decent bloke for a copper myself.

I also thought he was all right until he threw me out the ground for stage diving on the Holmesdale in 1992.

I wouldn't have minded but it was a blonde skinhead doing it and I have dark hair and was wearing a hat!

Sorry, can't quite go with the assertion he was a legend - there's no way he is on the same level as Sideburns!
