I'm sure if me and him had gone on the pitch, we could have done a lot better.

I just smiled politely.

Really good! Quite funny, better than the 'other' show I saw :D
Had a wonder round Covent Garden first eyeing up some hunky firemen, an acrobatic act and an old lady dancing round her shopping bag. Bless - she was really enjoying herself :)
After the show had a nice meal in Garfunkles in the Strand then had a couple of drinks in the Dalmally club when we got back
It was a long day :D

13-09-2009, 03:59 PM
Sounds like a long day.
Now, these firemen. Where exactly were they and are they there regularly, do you think?
I had a nice meal last night. I went to a seafood Italian restaurant, and then remembered I can't eat shellfish :(
So, I struggled a little bit with the menu, but managed to find something that didn't involve shells.

The firemen were on the church forecourt where they have the main entertainment. They were doing a fittest fireman contest.........blimey, they were fit! Unfortunately, they were only there for the day :(
Where did you go for your meal? Is it only shell fish you can't eat? Can you eat ordinary fish?

Oh, about the firemen :(
Went to a restaurant in Elmers End, L'Aragosta. I can eat fish, it's just things like mussels, clams, scallops. Not sure about crab and lobster, I'm a bit worried to try it, just in case. Basically, anything in a shell :(
Klinks was a good boy yesterday. I didn't take his sweeties because I remembered he is fasting :)

I was looking at everyone's feet walking past me.
I did see one pair that I thought may be you, but it was a woman. And she was stuffing a hamburger down her throat, so I guessed it wasn't you. What with fasting and all that.

No. The only other golf courses I've played on are Addington Court and Addington Palace.
I've used the range at Croham Hurst, though.
Should the Mods now move this to World of Sport?

Mazling. Please stop trying to get this thread moved.
If this does get moved, and I find out you had one little bit to do with it, I will never, ever, speak to you again.
I do realise this could be your incentive to get it moved though

I've played at Tilgate, Horne, Burgess Hill, Addington Court, Surrey National, Woldingham, St. Mellion (both courses), and La Manga Club (all 3 courses).
And Godstone.

Croham Hurst is Good
Croham Hurst is so stuffy, though.
Apart from Purley Downs, it's the closest one to me and whenever I go there (mainly for the Golf Shop), I get told off about where I've parked my car
It's never parked in the right place, apparently, but they never tell me where the right place is.
They don't like women there.
