Well we've all suffered from the shock of the last few days' events, but how does it compare with other managerial ins and outs over the years? 1984 with Dave Bassett springs to mind as one contender.

The end of the Attillio reign saw Rocket Ron say I'm picking the team, the next game was a 5-2 defeat at Bolton, after which he cliamed Brian Sparrow had picked it!!

You can not beat Ron Noades sacking Steve Kember after doing a great job, and bringing in the devil himself Alan Bloody Mullery.
