I've just got back from France and I'm off to Heathrow in the morning so I've put this on early again. Let's get back to winning ways. A win today and a win against QPR will put us level with them on points :)

Second closest (I think?) Palace game to me now, and I would have loved to have been there today, bar being completely skint still. I'll settle for a draw, to be honest. 0-0 today methinks.

He did similar at Sheffield United and (from memory) he only needed a sub keeper two or three times in about eight years in charge.

It really isn't as big a risk as you might think.

Still, two or three times in eight years completely wipes out any kind of risk involved.

Additionally, when United had goalkeeper injuries, they still won a fair few of their games.

They beat Arsenal 1-0 with Phil Jagielka in goal.

They beat us 2-1 with Jagielka in goal too.

I can see the point for not having a sub keeper when only five are allowed on the bench, but from a choice of seven, six outfield players should cover most of the positions, and having a reserve keeper cuts out any risk, however small it may be.
