Mark,
Try looking at http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000084.html
although both clubs confirmed interests from Palace, including Pedersen having a week's trial here, Jordan appears content to await the EU ruling on transfer fees on 31 October before making a move. It's a shame, becasue, despite Pedersen being the top scorer in the Danish top league for '98 & '99 he's only valued at £650-700,000.

Reading into what Simon Jordan has said about getting a new striker in about 4 weeks i wondered about the delay.Looking to the leagues abroad some of the Scandanavian leagues have their winter breaks around the end of november, could this be where our new forward is coming from?

Palace should pay whatever Häcken wants for Kim Källström. He is to be the next superstar in sweden, kim is playing in the midfield but can play up front to.
I really would like that palace could buy: Fredrik Berglund from Elfsborg he just can´t stop doing goals, 16 so far(speedy Gonzales!!).
Danijel Milovanovic 26 y.o who so far done 10 goals likes to play 1 to 1. He is not van basten but cheap.
Stefan Selakovic from Halmstad if palace is willing of paying HBK what they want for Selakovic, Palace wouldnt be sorry. One day he score against Frölunda and next Benfica.
There is a lot of good players here just for smith to come and get ém.

In four weeks two things will have happened - some seasons will actually have finished, and the EU will have decided about transfer fees. Seems to make sense to wait. May not be mega-bucks involved, and we may still have to pay (can't honestly believe it be an instant switch) but whatever it won't cost more.
