Would be nice for the 'kid' to say something on behalf of the consortium or indeed for them to hold a press conference if something has happened and the staff are being paid?

If you say so that leads a shed load of credibility to the thread so whats is the catalyst to us going up a path of optimism.

This suggests that 2010 have purchased the ground & whatever they needed to of 2000 Ltd rather than waiting to sign all four elements at once.

Or am I misunderstanding?

I wopuldn't go that far but binding agreements have been signed - they may well be conditional on other things happening - specifically the CVA and the approval from the FL - the ground may well already be under contract but also conditional on the club deal going through. There are a variety of ways of dealing with it legally but getting to this tage was the really difficult one.

It swtill isn't done and there is always the faint possibility htt something untoward might happen but that has to be a great deal less likely and the risk of something catastrophic happening in the next few days because wages are unpaid entirely has gone.

Please don't use the phrase "last post" in a Palace context.

I suppose CPFC2010 own the ground, but, not the assets or FL "share" that CPFC2000 owns? A completed CVA will allow those to be transferred from CPFC2000 to CPFC2010 and then CPFC2000 will be wound up?

So are you saying they are now paying the wages?

I nearly added that as a p.s last time.

Okay, how far above the 7" original version of Glad All Over is the needle hovering then?

Or have we just heard the whump through the speakers as the needle drops and are in the crackly pause before the first drumbeats?

"The money available to the unsecured creditors I believe is now half a million. I'm led to believe that is enough to satisfy the former chairman. But everyone is coming out of this deal with a hair cut."

C'mon CPFC 2010, let's have an official line on this, it would be a great start to the week as a Palace fan, even if the Advertiser is reporting it or Croydon Guardian. Be nice to get some official confirmation straight from the horses mouth!!

I think he'll get most of the payment to the unsecured creditors. I don't think the other creditors will get any meaningful amount, as what they were owed compared to him is almost nothing.

Having said teh creditors could get a better deal at the original meeting, you cannot believe a man with his ego wasn't going to push for a 'better deal' no mater how small the increase. They are still only getting 2%.

If CPFC 2010 marked Brenda's dance card early on in Administration, and they had to kiss him to get Preffered Bidder status, what did they have to do to him today?. And did this country's decency laws mean they had to take him to Malta to do it?
