I've found myself referring to Steve Parish in my posts as Mr. Parish, I've also noticed at least PK doing the same.

I'm 10 years older than the guy, he talks just like me, if not worse, and I've only known about him for a week or so.

I really think it is a respect thing that is in-bedded into me. I appear to have instant respect for the guy so subconsciously want to call him Mr.

I can't for the life of me believe I ever had this urge to call Simon Mr. Jordan!

Anyone else having this phenomenon?

Its either because you have resect or because you recognise you are lower in the pecking order.
