Season tickets for the new campaign have now been on sale for less than a week and already we are delighted to announce that we have sold over 300 season tickets for the 2010/11 season.

This now means we are now in excess of 7000 as supporters take this opportunity to show their support for the new consortium after their purchase of the club. George Burley has now been appointed as the new manager along with Dougie Freedman as his assistant and both are well aware of how important the role was that fans played in the purchase of the club and last season's fight against relegation.

Prices are available in all areas of the stadium and please note that existing season ticket holders have until June 30th to renew their current seats. After this date they will be put on sale to all supporters.

Chief Executive Phil Alexander adds. " We are delighted with such a great response from Palace fans on new season tickets in such a short space of time. It is very encouraging to see how the supporters have come on board and are ready to be part of this bright new future under the new ownership and management team .Our aim is to reach 10,000 season ticket holders by the first League game and this achieved if we continue with the current sales rate."

Around 10,000.

Cheers, makes sense considering that they have set that figure as a target for the first game of the season. Let's hope we surpass it!

So, is this 7,000 a good figure, average figure or Poor figure at this stage ?

I wouldn't really know because I always get mine 2 or so years in advance to get a discount. And i dont recall seeing any figures.

I am very happy we are still attracting people at Selhurst, and I think whether they will be ST holders or not our club support will be excellent this season, it should be a jubilant atmposhpere however we're doing (Unless relegation threatened - Which we wont be!). I still think if we pass the CVA etc administration has been an event that has brought this club closer together. :D

I will be looking forward to hear the Selhurst Faithfull watching the Burley and the boys storm this league. (Playoffs will do :D :D)

It is sort of impossible to say because tickets have not been available for a large chunk of time when you might expect them to be being sold and as yet the club still isn't legally safe which may still be putting off some people - I will be adding another 3 shortly but the phones have been engaged each time I have rung so am leaving it a couple of days.

SE25 - thats included I'm afraid - as they said just over 6,700 St had already been sold for this season - we need to try and sell at least as many again.

Renewed mine today at box office but wanted to move slightly to avoid pillar in the main stand, having moved 7 seats along I was very happy. Upon leaving the ground I noticed the gate next to the corner of main stand holmesdale was open so I took the opportunity to go and sit in above said seats only to find there was a pillar blocking home end goal!Changed back to original seats. A message to cpfc 2010 can we get a proper plan of seats to help people get their season tickets in the right place but more importantly for the casual but equally as important supporter to buy tickets.

When I chose my seat ten years ago, I was escorted to the AW and was able to choose the seat I wanted to be in, having tried out many different seats. :p

Having just bought a rather expensive ticket myself, I can recommend Arthur Wait block U rows 14 and 15 seats 79 to 80 which have now just become available. Perfect view, aisle access and background music from the AWM.

Unfortunately my buying 25% of CPFC has a downside as it means I will not be watching games from the Arthur any more. That will feel very odd as I have stood, and then sat, there for 40 years. Hope someone enjoys the view from my old seat....

Any chance of converting the bottom half of the Arthur into terracing? :p

Seriously Steve, it's great to know you are one of us and know the joys and pitfalls of being a Palace fan. There's usually a lot of stuff we moan about, mainly because we dont know the real reasons behind what goes on (e.g. the treatment of the AWM/HF etc), so it would be great if you could keep us informed somehow.

I hope you dont get too many trivial questions (but that's probably inevitable) and that you never lose the enjoyment of coming to watch Palace. Best of luck. :p

Yeah, I loved the Arthur Wait enclosure, so much better than seats, but obviously nothing that we can do about that. Genuinely sorry to be leaving the AW for the boardroom but Steve and Martin are great blokes and it would be a bit hard to communicate with them from the other side of the pitch....

I'm tempted by the Arthur. It's where I started watching football, before moving to the Holmesdale. It's just the truly awful service at half-time that is a downer. The half-time beer is a crucial part of match-day. In the Arthur, I have often when I've sat there in the last few years queued for all of half-time, only to have the bar shut before I get served. Or queued for ages, and have them run out of beer :(

Definately, I hope none of you fall out of love with Palace or football now. We don't expect instant success or you to bankrupt yourselves. Stay in the Arthur and text them ;) At least you'll see both sides of the game then. :D

Hi CPFC2010! Steve I know quite a few people want to pay with Installments what is the latest position on this?

I went up to the ground on Wednesday, they didn't have the forms to deal with payments in instalments. The box office took my details, assured me they'd mail me the form and that my seat would be retained for the time being.
