The Argies and the Dutch. I thought about choosing the Krauts but they were only a decent team today against an woefully inept England side and I think they could be easily beaten by a team that can defend. Argentina, anyone? Watching the Argies attack is a joy.

I don't bet very often, but as my 10 was on Germany before this afternoon's kick off ( I didn't see anyway in which England could win)- I think that I will stick with them!

I'm not 'supporting them' so to speak. I have a soft spot for Ghana because they are underdogs and know some Ghanaians.
And I like the way Uruguay play and aren't full of themselves like Argentina.

I'm not supporting them. I just like to watch good football played by decent teams.
The Germans and Argies have played the best football for me so far in the competition, They have entertained and been a joy to watch, so I want them to win so I get to see more of them.

Although I think we made the Germans look better than they actually are with our hapless defending. I hope Argentinia batter them in the 1/4s.

ditto, my brother in law is half Ghanian so I am clinging to that most tenuous of links and giving them my backing. Holland, I'd just like to see them beat Germany.
