View Full Version : Lombardo!
Jolly Norwegian

I watched the Arsenal - Lazio game a few weeks ago, and Lombardo came on at half time, only to be substituted 25 minutes later... it was quite sad to see our favorite bald Italian at that level, it was clear he had nothing to do in the Champions League. For the little time that Lombardo was on the field, more than half the Norwegian comments on the game were jokes about him... Jordan and Smith would surely increase their popularity if they'd bring back Lombardo, though, don't you think?
I cant see it, I really cant. There is more chance of him going to Dundee than us !

Be nice if he could finish his playing career with us - but I agree with Paf - it's pretty unlikely.

I've said it before and i'll say it again.... Make the great bald one our new manager! - i believe he would earn the players respect - which no one else at the club seems to have at the moment - and his technical knowledge is outstanding.
Granted it's not likely but you never know!

Why would he come back here when he more or less jumped at the chance to get back to Italy for the sake of his family?

He made an enquiry to replace me (Sir.Stevie Coppell) as player/manager last season and was told NO THANKS although I reckon he would make a good manager and I was the one who told the board to make him caretaker manager when I left in the Prem League (BUT HE DIDNT FULFILL HIS POTENTIAL)
Might happen as a coach etc 1 day???????
