It's not just England though. For me it international football as a whole.
The WC isn't the spectacle it used to be. Or maybe I'm just looking back at previous WC's with rosy glasses on.

I'd go out of my way to watch Spain play atm, but other than them...
Too many primadonnas in international football nowadays. Familiarity - international players playing agianst each other week in week out in the PL or CL - has taken away some of the spectacle too.

Fly fishing is what it is all about around their. My FIL goes down there a lot (courtesy of his daughter!) to fish on the Test. I'm not a big fishing fan but I can certainly understand the peace and tranquility of it all down there ... popular pub by the river down there called The Mayfly ... :p

I will be worried about the resurgence of Preston if they beat Reading tonight. They will still be five points behind us with seven games remaining. Looks too much. And we have to play Scunthorpe at home ...
